Some information about the person who brings this website to you.

We have been a members of the club for  twenty five years and have been through different phases of activity within the club. When the children were younger and didn't have a lot of spare time, the Star was our only contact with club matters. As the children got older we were able to take part in many of the clubs events and camping weekends. This resulted in Chris, my wife winning the ladies long distance award for three years.

We have not missed an AGM or delegates meeting for many years as we feel they are a fundamental part of the decision making in the club. We have travelled to many International events and helped organise the 1998 event in Scotland which proved to be a huge success with over 400 people attending. Nowadays we ride the Black MkII Rocket Three in the picture to most events but for many years used a much modified A10 Golden Flash. We have travelled to Rome on it for the Italian International Rally and used it for dozens of trips to closer European countries.

For the last 8 years or so I have also been the club's Machine Dating Officer as well as organising this website. For many years we have been regular riders in the Warrington Branch of the club accompanying them to the last ten or so John Bull rallies in Belgium although we choose to be National Members now. During this time we have made many friends both in the UK and abroad.

We like to read the monthly Star magazine which keeps all members in touch with what is happening in the club and search through it each month for the bargains in the free (to members) adverts.

The things we like most about the club is it's friendly spirit and the willingness of its members to help each other, whether it is the loan of a part for somebody to make a copy, or helping somebody to rebuild a bike engine thousands of miles from their home on a rally site.
